Regional Orthopedics was founded in 1999. Over the past years Regional Orthopedics has been a leader in the community making new technology rapidly available to its clients. It was one of the first and remains one of the few offices in the tri-state area that utilizes a paperless system of electronic medical record keeping which improves the efficiency, accuracy and maintains the privacy of your health care record. Through its academic affiliation with the New York University School of Medicine and the Hospital for Joint Diseases as well as through maintaining a schedule that includes frequent participation in national conferences and visitation to other medical centers for the purpose of observation and learning, Regional Orthopedics is able to introduce new procedures that are not generally available in the local community. These procedures include all arthroscopic shoulder surgery, minimally invasive carpal tunnel surgery, minimally invasive total hip replacement, hip arthroscopy, unispacer knee arthroplasty, unifocal and bifocal knee resurfacing, cartilage transplantation and restoration, ‘all inside’ ACL reconstruction, complex deformity correction, minimally invasive muscle sparing total knee replacement and computer navigated procedures.
