I found Dr. Montalbano on a online search for my mom who has a femur fracture. I found Dr. Montalbano on a search from NYU Hospital for joint disease. We have excellent office services at all levels. This office has been excellent throughout my moms hard time. I would recommend Dr. Montalbano highly.

My name is Diann Carswell-Olds
I am a 37yrs of age, at the age of 18 I ruptured my ACL in my right knee. I was told that I would need to have a total knee replacement once I had reached a certain period in my life, Well unfortunately that point and time came at 37yrs of age. After reconstructions and numerous torn cartilage repairs and injections I was told by several Orthopedic Surgeons that there was nothing that could be done for me. I was told by my mothers doctor that I would not be able to walk again and that I need to be seen by a Joint Disease Specialist, I contacted my insurance who gave me a list of doctors and none of them were located in my area until I contacted Dr. Montalbano’s office. At that time I spoke with Nicole I was very upset and tired of hearing the same statement from specialist “there is nothing I could do for you, you are too young for a knee replacement!” I had given up hope until I spoke with Nicole she reassured me that everything would be fine. I went in for my appointment and then I began to feel that I had a Specialist who cared to take the time to help. As per Dr. Montalbano I needed to have a total knee replacement. I then explained that the other doctors that had treated me stated that I was too young, Dr. Montalbano explained that I was not too young and that it could be done and that there was was no need to worry that I would hear from Lisa when my surgery was scheduled, Lisa became my contact person at the office she went above and beyond to assist me with anything that I needed assistance with Lisa is Great! I was worried about who was going to take me to NYC at 5:00am low and behold Lisa calls to tell me that Dr. Montalbano scheduled a car service to pick me as a courtesy. I Thank God for Dr. Montalbano and his staff I now feel that I can have back that quality of life I had before I got hurt. I have a 13yr old son and a 5yr old daughter who want to learn how to basketball, I now feel that I can accomplish this once I am fully on my feet. I have a husband that likes to go to Atlantic City I couldn’t do the long walks and standing or sitting, I now feel that I have things to look forward to enjoy. Dr. Montalbano replaced my right knee five years ago. He also replaced my left knee on July 17, 2009. My quality of life has improved since both operations. Dr. Montalbano’s staff have been nothing less than professional. I gave Lisa a specific time frame when I wanted to have the surgery done and she was able to accomodate me. I have recommended Dr. Montalbano to numerous individuals. Dr. Montalbano’s Physicians Assistant, Michelle, has been a breath of fresh air. She is knowledgeable, professional and very competent. DR. MONTALBANO HAS BEEN LIKE A GIFT FROM GOD.

My name is Julie Malko. My shoulder pain before surgery was very limited to only do basic tasks. My PCP referred me to Dr. Montalbano. My experience with the office staff was on overall good one. My pain is still present but has decreased but I am also only 6 weeks post-op. I would definitely recommend friends and family to see Dr. Montalbano and staff if they were to need orthopedic help.

I was having a lot of pain before surgery. I could not lift anything with my shoulder and could not sleep. I was referred to Dr. Montalbano by a friend. My experience has been very good. The staff is excellent. I am still in pain but coming along. I would have surgery again with Dr. Montalbano and would recommend him to friends & family.

After being referred to Dr. Montalbanos office for my shoulder, I received the correct care and compassion that I needed to get through my condition. After my surgery, Michelle again exhibited compassion and explained in detail my surgery. Every month on my visit to the office all of the employees at the office were polite and courteous. I have been and will continue to refer friends and family to Dr. Montalbano.

Before my Left shoulder surgery I couldn’t even sleep with the pain in my left shoulder. Now I feel as good as new. My PCP referred me to Dr. Montalbano. The entire pre and post surgical experience was much nicer than expected. The staff is excellent! That deep ache in my shoulder is just a bad memory. My relief is huge. Thank you for fixing my problem. I have recommended Dr. Montalbano to family.

I was referred by my son- in- law who had shoulder surgery here by the doctor and was very happy with the final results. I also was very pleased with the care I received by the people here. They took me the same day my daughter called and put on the hard cast for me. They always answered all my questions and my wrist feels as good as it did before I broke it. I would recommend him to my friends and would use him again.
